| Chapter 107 | Assistance | |
| 7 Verses | al-Ma’un | المـاعون |
| 1 | In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? | بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ |
| 2 | For that is the one who drives away the orphan | فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ |
| 3 | And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. | وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ |
| 4 | So woe to those who pray | فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ |
| 5 | [But] who are heedless of their prayer – | ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ |
| 6 | Those who make show [of their deeds] | ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ |
| 7 | And withhold [simple] assistance. | وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ |
