| 3 Verses | al-‘Asr | الـعصر |
| 1 | In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. By time, | بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْعَصْرِ |
| 2 | Indeed, mankind is in loss, | إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ |
| 3 | Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. | إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ |
